Hi all. We have arrived in Saltzberg after a smoo-o-oth quiet, clean train ride from Vienna; a real treat. Yesterday we climbed up to the castle and wandered about seeking out old stuff. We wandered about the castle then meandered out into the surrounding forest to reconnect with nature. Returning back to the hotel and our main street facing room met us with grand amounts of road noise; of special note was the group of young ladies who broke into song at about midnight entertaining us whilst causing a sleepless night.Today we changed rooms to one that overlooks the quiet back yard, then took a bus ride to Hitlers Eagles Nest located just on the other side of the German border. Upon return to the city we wandered about enjoying the magnificent views, beautiful buildings, and that evil stuff - Geloto. The weather gods smiled on us again-it was a lovely 70 degrees but humid.

Whatever happened to the first post on the 22nd? Anyways, you didn't say much about Hilter's Eagle Nest - it must of been uneventful. I wouldn't say Gelato was evil, unless of course, every time you pass it by, it keeps flying at you and hits you in the mouth and it forces you to swallow! Such torture! Umm - Evil, Flying, Austrian Gelato. It must be a new thing, for I've never experienced such a thing in Austria. Maybe it's your scent...
